Abstract:
A person’s motor skills are part of the general psychophysical abilities on which their ability to exercise successfully depends. These abilities include muscular strength, speed, endurance, coordination, flexibility, balance, and accuracy. This study aims to determine the level of motor ability development of elementary school students through the use of a test battery and assessment instruments. In order to determine the level of students’ motor ability, 10 tests were selected to evaluate their abilities related to motor skills: speed, muscle strength, explosive power, flexibility, speed-strength endurance, as well as the psychomotor qualities of coordination of movements, balance sense, accuracy of movements and efforts, etc. Keywords: motor abilities, motor skills, psychomotor qualities, testing.
