Abstract:

In the article is examined the study period of Bulgarians, who leave on a training in the Yelisavetgrad cavalry school Junker in the period 1879–1881. At the beginning is presented a brief history of the school and its development to the moment when it enrollment for education Bulgarians. In the study have been discussed some lesser-known moments connected with the residence of Bulgarians in their period of training in Russia and the problems they face in it. Some of the presented sources of information are published for the first time.
