Touch to the history of monastic center Paroria

Abstract:

The paper presents some moments of the history of the monastic center Paroria in the first half of the 14th century. According to the Life of St. Romil, the monks were victims of the Muslims riders. Many scholars accept that this Muslims were Turks. According the author‘s view the first attack in 1341–1342 was a work of the Tartars. The second attack was a work of the Turks in 1346–1347.
