Abstract:
Geography continues to be a significant factor in the political life on the Balkan Peninsula, just as it has been during its millennial development, when it has been building the tracks of the historical life of the Balkan peoples and their fates. And if its influence on the history of the Balkans and their contemporaneity is undisputable, there’s no way it should be considered deterministic. Getting its paths of development from geography, Balkan history often changes them according to the intellect, moral and interests of those, who create it.
