Abstract:

The aim of the critical analysis is to outline the place of geography and economics in Bulgarian schools and to make a short overview of the new school kits on the subject in the regards to the actual regulatory requirements. The aim of the text is not intended towards confronting certain authors’ collectives or pointing out certain merits of a given school kit compared to another but rather to show that each author’s team offers adequate educational products to be fully utilized in the learning process in order to meet the requirements for the learning outcomes of the geography and economics courses and the specific objectives of the subject’s education in the respective stages of the degrees.
