Abstract:
This article presents a situation analysis of Geography and economy textbooks for the 5th grade. As a result of the large amount of new regulatory requirements for the textbooks in Bulgaria, the article is divided into two parts. The 6 textbooks of geography and economics are compared with the curriculum. The criteria on which the situational analysis is based are - age and pupils’ characteristics, self-thinking, content of commercial advertising elements, discriminatory texts, learn content, text and output-text components and others.
