Abstract:

The report focuses on the important moments of the life and activity of Grigor Popov, a person dedicated to the theater and cultural upbringing not only of the town of Razgrad and the region, but left a strong trace in our national culture. Unfortunately, most of our contemporaries are poorly informed or do not know the personality of Grigor Popov, and my ideologically geographic purpose is to promote his contribution in the establishment of the city of Razgrad on the cultural map of Bulgaria and Europe. From a cultural and geographic point of view, the dynamics in the social relations, the individual and spatial changes in the identity and the socio-economic and political preconditions, which led to the change of the geographic picture of Razgrad, have been taken into account.
