Abstract:

This paper is dedicated to my grandfather. Devene is the village where I spent all my vacations. It is located in the Vratsa region. It has a beautiful nature. Remains of a Thracian settlement have been found there. It has grown rapidly over the years. At the beginning of the 21st century, its population was small. It has agricultural functions and it is a convenient transport hub.
