Abstract:

The article presents the only known military-theoretical paper of general Nikola Mihov. The document is a profound analysis of the military action of the Bulgarian army during the successful attacks on the Eastern Sector at the Edrine fortress during the First Balkan war and the attack on the Tutrakan fortress during World War I. The paper presents a theoretical and tactical military analysis and very valuable comparison of the two events. The general makes conclusions on the theory of attacking a previously fortified position, which offers the point of view of an active participant in the events.
