Abstract:
The paper deals with the topic of the pacifism, isolationism, anti-war movement and non-interventionism in the USA between the world wars. It explains the reasons for the growth of the pacifist movement and the antiwar activism after the Great War. Also discussed are Jeannette Rankin and her objection to the USA participation both in the First and the Second World War, as well as the “America First” Committee and its effort to keep the USA from engaging in the Second World War.
