Abstract:
At the end of the twentieth century events in Europe, changed the existing nearly half a century political configuration between the two economic-military-political bloc. On the map of Europe have brought new countries, which is a regular phenomenon after the great World War. It must be recognized that the West beat in the “cold war.” Completely different answer to the question whether this war is ended, or has gone through a crucial, but not final stage. The new distribution of global influence is unipolar with only one leader – USA. As happened after World War unipolarity model of the winners soon parted into two. The Maastricht Treaty (7 February 1992) and the euro (1 January 1999) as the currency of the EU, not only denoted the second pole of globalization, but have said his claims.
