Abstract:
Turnovo is one of the few cities where shortly after the Liberation secondary schools were opened. The authority of the education here was supported by the presence of two schools, emblems of the educational work, where boys and girls, as well, were taught. The financial condition of the secondary schools was direct responsibility of the state and therefore their status was public.
