Peer Review
The editor-in-chief assesses each manuscript submitted for publication to determine the extent to which its topic and content align with the journal’s scope and ethical standards. Prior to publication, all texts are checked for plagiarism and undergo a double-blind peer review process in strict adherence to the standards of publication ethics. Independent, qualified reviewers prepare reviews based on specific criteria. The final decision regarding publication is made by the editorial board and the editor-in-chief.
The independent double-blind peer review process proceeds in the following sequence:
• Submitted manuscripts are sent for evaluation to two independent, qualified reviewers without the authors’ names or other identifying information.
• The reviewers evaluate the manuscript and recommend it:
1) for publication;
2) for publication after minor revisions;
3) for publication after more substantial revisions and/or rewriting;
4) for rejection.
• For manuscripts that have undergone revisions, the same reviewers are informed of the changes made and evaluate the quality of the revised material.
• The author(s) are sent written confirmation of the publication’s acceptance.
The peer-review process takes a maximum of four months.
Manuscripts accepted for review are considered confidential documents.
Reviewers must not review manuscripts with which they have a conflict of interest arising from competition, collaboration, or other relationships with authors or institutions associated with the manuscript.
Authors receive their reviews electronically, with the reviewer’s anonymity preserved.
In the event of significant differences of opinion between the reviewers and the editors, the editor-in-chief may consult with members of the editorial board or appoint a third reviewer.
All correspondence related to a specific manuscript is confidential.
After publication, authors receive an electronic copy of their publication.
