Economic Relations of the European Union with the Republic of Korea

The Republic of Korea is the third most important partner of the European Union in East Asia and is the world’s eleventh economy with a nominal GDP of $1.41 trillion and Asia’s fourth biggest economy after China, Japan and India. The paper discuses the economic relations of the Republic of Korea with the EU as makes historical review of the economic processes and analyses the present situation.

In recent years, many prestigious editions have begun to publish articles focusing on over-thejob, overloading and professional “burn-out”. Traditionally, these are studies by psychologists, but it is noticeable that more and more specialists in human management also discuss and analyse the increased sense of intellectual, emotional and physiological exhaustion. The reasons: there are tendencies for these persons to increase significantly, and the majority of them being young people in different positions. This report focuses on the variety of causes for professional “burn-out,” the consequences for the person and the organizations as a result of its occurrence, and outlines some of the most commonly recommended strategies to deal with it. Analysed data are obtained through empirical study, conducted on a group of students, learning and working simultaneously. Based on the presented results, a set of strategies are proposed to address the effects of professional “overheating” that may be perceived by the companies to fight the professional “burn-out”.
