The accounting and accounting profession are going through change that probably will overturn our notion about them. Their development will give us the answers of how and why they have changed from what they were through what they are to what they will be. The research focus is on development of the accounting profession. Needless to say, there are a lot studies in that areas. It seems like the history of accounting profession stay out of the limelight. The paper aims to trace back the impact of time affects to accounting profession. Based on thesis that changes in environment shape the accounting profession is outlined the evolution of accounting profession and it is characterized its essence. Some leading trends and challenges for its future development are also discussed.
