In recent years there have been root changes in the functioning of the control institutions in our country. They are the result of greater comprehensiveness of impact, improving control activity and achieving full transparency and objectivity in checks and inspections. This article is intended to draw attention to the reasons for conducting financial inspections in Bulgaria. They are basic in assessing the need for urgent inspections. In addition to the reasons, the article will be consider the reports and complaints which various organizations and individuns send to the competent institution – State Financial Inspection. It is called upon to carry out financial control in Bulgaria in the inspected organizations and companies. Without claiming comprehensiveness, an attempt has been hare to outlines some of the guidelines in the award of financial inspections by the institution concerned. Expected results may be sought in: timely expediency and legality of inspections carried out at sites subject to control; supersors; High performance and limitation of negative phenomena found in the inspections in Bulgaria.
