As one very important discipline, marketing is directly focused on fully understanding customers, their needs and wants, so that companies can create product, idea or service that will fulfill them. Therefore, in order to promote and sale the products and/or services companies use all marketing activities available to them. Regardless of the use of traditional marketing, the use of digital marketing has been stepping up and showing serious growth among companies using it. Digital marketing is not different than traditional marketing in its mission, it just takes its activities through the digital platforms. Given its success rate and popularity on global markets, digital marketing strategies are first choice for start-up companies. The aim of this paper is to present the mostly used and effective digital marketing strategies among the star-up companies, such as affiliate, e-mail, social media, pay per click, search engine optimization, influencer, content, viral, and referral marketing. Furthermore, the paper focuses on the importance of digital marketing plans that ensure start-ups least costs and maximum results
