The present report is a part of the author’s PnD Thesis. The employment opportunities and attitudes of people with mental retardation, users of residential social services are considered. The factors that affect the employment opportunities of people with mental retardation, users of social services of residential type, are: the ability to provide a meaningful response, previous work experience, type and level of disability, comorbidities, age, motivation for employment.
