The project team is a traditional practice in many organizations. The formation of a project idea into a complete project proposal largely depends on the efficiency and professionalism of the project team. The successful implementation of each project, regardless of its nature, is the result of the harmonious coordination of many factors, one of which is the team. Project team management is an essential component of project management. The purpose of this article is to highlight the project team in organizations as an opportunity to bring together people with both specific competencies and multiple complementary skills. The characteristics and peculiarities of the project team are considered. Practices for building an effective project team are indicated. It focuses on the factors that influence the success of the project team.
