Business communication and tourism exhibitions as one of its specific tools are gaining an increasing importance in the context of global information and the growing tourism industry. As part of their activities, effective business communications are at the basis of successful interaction in tourism. The topicality of the issues under investigation is determined by the importance of tourism fairs built upon their unique world history and tradition and their role in legitimizing tourism. How is communication policy in tourism being assessed through the prism of exhibitions and fairs as the most public events in tourism? Some results from the development of two of the most popular exhibitions in Bulgaria and the trends in communication dynamics that the tourism industry is currently imposing globally are briefly analyzed. The present publication focuses on the crucial importance of business communications between key audiences in tourism through traditional and online exhibitions.
