The transport industry plays a key role in the development of international trade. It provides traders with access to the global market through the physical movement of objects of purchase and sale to international markets. This study defines the place of transport activity, by formulating the concepts of active and passive transport disposition, in the context of the international supply chain, according to the Incoterms delivery terms. Based on an analysis of the theoretical and practical aspects of transport activity, the participation of counterparties (buyer and seller) in the organization of transport is presented, as part of the technological cycle of the international delivery of goods.
