Abstract:
On 12 November 2018, Directive 2018/1673 on combating money laundering by criminal law was published in the Official Journal of the European Union. As a part of a legislative package that extends the scope of anti-money laundering measures and strengthens the existing ones, the Directive aims to facilitate the police and judicial cooperation between the Members States.
