Abstract:

This article examines the special jurisdiction of courts-martial. In Bulgaria is established extended (exclusive) military jurisdiction for servicemen (for all criminal acts), and for civilians it is limited to particular criminal acts. This is explained in detail in the article. Some practical issues regarding the determination of military jurisdiction and delimiting military and general jurisdiction in the cases of complicated criminal activity and complicity between servicemen and civilians are also clarified in the article.
