Abstract:
The present article discusses the question about the main differences between coercive administrative measures and administrative penalties as manifestations of administrative coercion. Emphasis is placed on the issue of the „criminal potential” of some specific coercive administrative measures, which regardless of the qualification of the law, are essentially administrative penalties.
