Abstract:

The aim of this article is to examine the constituent elements of Articles 279–281 of the Bulgarian Criminal Code related to the illegal crossing of the Republic of Bulgaria’s borders. On the one hand, the relationship that exists between them lies at the heart of the problems in case law related to their differentiation, which requires strict consideration of each of the constituent elements. On the other hand, it can be used to trace the course of criminal activity from its beginning and to identify all persons responsible for it.
