Abstract:

The article analyzes the practice of courts in rendering first-instance verdicts when the committed act is punished by administrative order in the cases provided for in the special part of the Bulgarian Criminal Code, or when it constitutes an administrative violation. It also examines the question of the correct content of the sentence’s operative part in these cases, as well as the one concerning the awarding of costs.
