Abstract:
The article presents the author‘s views on the contemporary dimensions of public control over executive activity. It draws attention to the substantive characteristics of the principles of ”active transparency“ and ”passive transparency“ in the work of the administration. It focuses on the means of exercising public control provided for in legislation. These include making proposals and reports under the general procedural rules, reporting or publicly disclosing information about breaches of the Union law to exhaustively listed specialized administrative bodies, and reporting conflicts of interest to the Anti-Corruption Commission.
