Criminal Code – present features and prospectives

Abstract:

The article is provisionally divided into three sections. The first aimes to present the main characteristica of the Criminal Code in force, that outlines it as a remarcable achievement of bulgarian scientific intellect and legislative efforts. In the second section the amendments of the last years are analized, which not only demonstrate the inflation in criminal legislation, but show their destructive effect over the whole structure of the Code and the regretful ignorance of main principles of law. The third section presents some personal views, that could perhaps contribute to a further development of the most valuable ideas laid out in the Criminal Code.
