The study presents the importance of the guest and the various forms of hospitality as cultural phenomenons in the Turkish tradition. The main rules of behavior in hospitality are considered in its basic elements of welcomingcommunication- leaving. They are regulated both by the folk culture and by the religious canon and follow the rules of the modernization changes in culture.
