Abstract:

The content of reference books during Renaissance is surprisingly rich and plays important role for their perceiving from the society. The article characterizes the typographic researches of secondary importance with referential and information meaning, which have attitude toward books and support educational, professional and worldly expressions of the modern person from XIX century. It became clear from the made researches that they stay separate from the rest of the content because oh their place, font size, font and graphic design. In the same time they give significant volume of knowledge, which strengthen the self-confidence of Bulgarian people. This way of modeling comes from the needs of society and increase functionality of reference books through which they participate in real life and in the communication process of Renaissance.
