Reported data submitted by Bishop Nestor documents and materials for the collection of the State Archives – Ruse. Cited a statement by the French literary critic and writer Jean Jacques Mitterrand on 14 June 2002 in Bulgarian monastery Lopushanski for poetic works of Bishop Nestor Smolenski: “In your face I saw one of the vertices of the poetry of the late twentieth century and the beginning of our century. “
