Abstract:

The research topic of the article is the idea that the πΌπ‘§π‘π‘œπ‘Ÿπ‘Žπ‘‘ π‘›π‘Ž πΎπ‘’π‘™π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘Ž (The Choice of πΎπ‘’π‘™π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘Ž) newspaper column has performed various functions throughout its existence. The paper seeks to answer the following questions: What are the functions of this column? Does it contribute to the formation of an elite? The article traces and analyzes all issues from 2000 to 2018, when πΎπ‘’π‘™π‘‘π‘’π‘Ÿπ‘Ž (Culture) ceased to be published. It also attempts to systematize trends.
