Contemporary criteria for the choise of personal names in Bulgaria

Abstract:

The text is part of a larger research on Bulgarian anthroponymy. It is based on survey materials, collected by the author, analyzing the criteria of Bulgarians related to the choice of their children’s names. The dynamics and the tendencies of the process have been traced. Samples of representative surveys have been attached.
