Abstract:

Two tendencies have been pointed out in the article: along with the prevalence of the traditional Christian names (Jan, Jakub, Kacper, Maria etc.), the influence of Anglo-Saxon culture and a broader process of globalisation are observed (Amelia, D¿esika, And¿elika, Alan czy Dastin). The third place belongs to the old Slavic names (Stasiów : Stanis³aw, Ziomków : Ziemowi, Tosie : Antonina, Michasie : Michalina).
