Abstract:
The article analyzes the results from a questionnaire about the attitudes of schoolchildren towards names. The results show the new generation’s attitude towards names: whether schoolchildren have positive or negative attitude towards their own names, whether they have favourite male and female names and what they are, whether there are names they do not like, what names they would choose for their future children, whether those names are traditional or modern and what the influence of the American culture and the English language is.
