Abstract:

The main purpose of the present article is to prove the opinion that some grammatical forms within different parts of speech during their interaction and because of their close interrelations, can be called hybrid ones. The analysis is focused on the typological similarities and differencies between the single forms in the grammatical description of the Gender, and especially the masculine forms. Subject of description are three Slavonic languages – Bulgarian, Russian and Polish as representatives of the three different linguistic groups in the whole Slavic community – Southern, Eastern and Western. The article prompts to show that many grammatical forms appear to be dual, mediate or being in a relative position towards the others. Therefore, it is reasonable to acknowledge the typological status of grammatical hybridity in the Slavonic languages, based on the discussed in the article examples.
