Abstract:
The extract is from the book “Novelist Gencho Stoev and the literary crossroads of history” – a dissertation research to award a scientific degree Doctor of Philology. In it are presented the early essays of young G. Stoev from the collection “Real people” and the attitude of the critics to them. There are correlations to the presentand the past of the essay genre, as well as observations on the literary process in the context of the socialist state and conditions for the development of art.
