Abstract:

The trend towards analytical construction characterizes the development of the naming systems of all Balkan languages . One of the main morphological Balkanism is the replacement of synthetic forms with analytical structures. This applies fully to the Greek language, though not Central Balkans. The trend towards analytical construction in the naming system of the modern Greek is noticeable mainly in “declining flectiveness that show some cases in the speech, as they are in relationship with free variation of the analytical (proposed) structures.
