Abstract:
The Cylinder seals from Ancient Mesopotamia are important source about the life, thinking, and traditions of the ancient society, described on the scenes engraved on them. During different periods, the seals and their motifs, are developed according to the society’s culture, from which part are. Object of the present paper is research on the scene of a concrete monument – Cylinder seal MS 0689 J. P. Morgan University Museum, dated in the Neo-Assyrian period. The Presented analysis is based on the study of the concrete elements in the scene as separate elements and in comparative plan with other similar artifacts. Main question in the research is that concerning the key elements in the image and their diversity
