Abstract:

In this paper we propose a small part of the development of my dissertation, whichs crutinize funeral practices in South Bulgaria during the Late Iron Age V – I centuries BC. The existing archaeological material is discussed in detail for detail presentation of the first group burial facilities, namely the burial sites. For better performance tableis prepared on the basis of which bring out their conclusions. The site can be seenas the first burial occurred facility which, although simple in its construction, exists inmany variations and processing are invariably develops in the next group of burialpits. While that sounds like a pattern in most of the sites may be linked to a population with fewer financial resources, and hence the low levels of social structure. Everything said here depicts a small part of the spiritual culture of the thenpopulation, which by its appearance in a material world inevitably leave traces in themodern notions of funeral practices.
