Abstract:

Rural tourism unites different types and forms of tourism. Its multifaceted nature raises different expectations about what a tourist would be offered as an experience during his/her stay outside the city limits. Analyses and conclusions have been presented as a result of the author’s long-term research work in the field of rural tourism. This is done to establish a functional and logical connection in order to successfully apply a comprehensive approach to discovering the essence of rural tourism.
