Abstract:
The aim of this study is to derive and analyze the important changes in the production system and the main public institutions predetermined by the characteristics of knowledge economy. Being aware of the immensity of the knowledge economy research field, the current study does not purport to cover all its details. The emphasis is placed on the fundamental development factors having caused the changes in the speed of processes and spatial relatios on the basis of new technological achievements at the macro level.
