Abstract:
The author pays attention of the work of the Joint Commission for theological dialogue between the Roman Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. During the second plenary meeting (Munich, June 30 to July 6 1982), Commission published a doctrinal document The Mystery of the Church and of the Eucharist in the light of the Mystery of the Holy Trinity, which contains some important ecclesiological points of Christian faith (“which is the continuation of that of the apostles”) in the sacramental perspective of the Church. Having studied the Ravenna document, the Russian Orthodox Church dis а greed with it in the part that refers to synodality and primacy on the level of the Universal Church. Members of the Holy Synod of Russian Orthodox Church (ROC), during the meeting at 25–26 December 2013, are adopted official document Position of the Moscow Patriarchate on the problem of primacy in the Universal Church. The aim of this paper is to present and analyze, for the future of the ecumenical dialogue, very important document of ROC.
