Abstract:

The article explores the polarized perspectives both supporting and opposing integration and use of artificial intelligence (AI) in arts. The discussion necessitates a reconsideration of traditional aesthetic categories (art, creativity, authorship) as well as the relationship between art and humanism. Ethical concerns associated with the use of AI in artistic creation—including issues of copyright, job displacement, and other societal implications—are also addressed.
