Abstract:

The purpose of the present study is not only to introduce the work of Pierre Huyghe, but also to steer our approach toward a deeper analysis of one of his central works in his large-scale exhibition project Liminal. The film Camata is created on a site with a historical weight that cannot be ignored, along with the emerging questions about the role of the work and its elements. A question comes up about the role of increasingly autonomous technologies in the artistic work and whether they acquire a different value in terms of perception and the conclusions arising from it.
