Abstract:

The article presents the sections, associations and groups of Bulgarian textile artists in the postmodern situation. It examines the prerequisites for their occurrence, their emergence and some of their core activities. The pursuit of common actions and related work in a collective over a common goal are manifestations, fully in the context of postmodernity and in this sense the groups of Bulgarian textile-artists from the end of the 80s and the 90s of the twentieth century, as well as the later created “virtual groups” fit into the present day.
