Abstract:
The purpose of this exhibition is to present the work of Cuban artist Thomas Sanchez in the field of contemporary landscape painting. Knowing his thematic orientation, his relation to composition in painting and space, we can draw a parallel between his works and landscapes from the time of Romanticism. Through the landscapes of Sanchez, we could get into one of the roles of the genre in painting today, namely to bring us back to transcendental questions and reflections on nature and human being.
