Abstract:
The aim of the article is to summarise some of the issues related to the artist's works and the historical environment of the second half of the 15th century and the beginning of the 16th century in the Netherlands. I propose an approach to Bosch's works as visual images, which means that the question of whether these works are art is secondary. The interpretation of an image is an attempt to understand social environments, their values, behaviours, conflicts, to whose construction, change, and destruction the image contributes. Through an analysis of the form, I aim to orient myself what social forces, transformed, act within the image and whom it affects in turn
