Social and Didactic Foundations of the Integrated Training Approach in Musical Pedagogy

Abstract:

This paper focuses on an urgent issue relating to the leading factor in the implementation of the aims and methods of training in the system of general musical education - the school teacher of music. Current methodological and methodical views on general musical education outline a perspective which needs to be taken into account in the training process of future teachers of music. At the root of the problem is the divergence between the standard splitting up of musical teacher training in different disciplines on the one hand and the projected organic unity of the musical teacher’s class activities on the other.
