Abstract:
The article is dedicated to the problem of Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). It represents a short historical overview of autism as a developmental disorder. Most influential theories in the area or ASD are discussed – etiology, symptoms, the diagnostic criteria and the main therapeutics approaches applied in ASD.
